BICA is an amateur cycling club who raise money for their chosen charities throughout the year with pub quizzes, race nights, and a 600 mile cycle ride from Giant’s Causeway, Antrim to the Blarney Stone in Cork. Heartlands CF Centre Charity was fortunate to be one of their chosen charities this year thanks to being nominated by two of the riders.
Our trustees Nicky Gilday and Jane Bull met the Clarke, Lavin and Argue Families from BICA and were thrilled to accept their generous donation of £10 000 on behalf of Heartlands CF Centre Charity. Nicky explained how the funds would be used to upgrade some additional inpatient rooms at the centre as part of our operation renovation appeal.
