Take a look at our Online Support Group for people living with CF

3rd November 2023

We are really excited to be able to offer our patients the opportunity to take part in online support group sessions. These sessions will take place on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7pm with additional drop in sessions on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 1pm and 7pm

Claire Nash has experience of working with adults living with CF and delivering online support groups. Following recent consultation sessions, we are really excited to be able to offer adults with CF, who attend the WMACF centre, the opportunity to take part in CF-specific online group support sessions. Starting in October, these sessions will be externally facilitated by Claire Nash, a local Psychotherapist who has experience of working with adults with CF. There will be a staff member from the unit available during these sessions to answer any clinical concerns raised. Click the links below to download the timetable of topics for each session;

Monthly “Topic” sessions on the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7pm

Fortnightly “Drop-in support” sessions on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 1pm and 7pm

The sessions are free and will take place via Zoom. The same link will be used for each session and will be sent out via text. If you have not received the text or have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via Reception on 0121 424 1693 or email  cfsocialworkers.email@uhb.nhs.uk

We really hope that this is something you will find useful and will give it a try!
