Sadie's End to End UK virtual walk

I am walking 874 miles from lands end to John O'Groats for Heartlands Cystic Fibrosis Centre room refurbishment.
I have given myself the biggest physical challenge of my adult life. This means walking on average 6500 steps a day in order to make it by the 11th July 2022. Something I never thought I was ever going to be able do, never even dreamed of doing. you see I have struggled through the last few years, and had even sorted out my end of life care plan.
This is a virtual walk and I have until 11th July 2022 to complete it.
I was started on Kaftio in April 2020 and since then I am able to do a little more, so I wanted to do something to help raise money for the ward that has helped me and my best friend since 2007.

I still use an NIV machine at night to help my lungs rest, nebulisers, tablets and oxygen when out walking. My lungs are currently working at around 36% but i am determined to do this!

For me this walk is in honour of my best friend who gained her angel wings Oct 2019 after her 28yr battle with cystic fibrosis. We knew each other since we was around 8yrs old and I have struggled mentally ever since. She always wanted me to live and I made a promise to myself I would. so I am pushing myself to do this 874 miles, when things get hard I know she will be watching over me, my guiding 🌟
