Dr David Honeybourne is Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre, as well as Clinical Director for Respiratory Medicine. As well as caring for adults with CF, he also works as a general respiratory physician looking after patients with other chest diseases. His interests include clinical research in a variety of areas, particularly involving bacteria found in the lungs of CF patients. He is also involved in a number of national and international committees in relation to cystic fibrosis and respiratory medicine.
Dr Joanna Whitehouse is Consultant Physician specialising in the management of adults with cystic fibrosis. Dr Whitehouse also works as a general respiratory physician, looking after patients with other chest diseases as well as cystic fibrosis. Her clinical interests include the management of pregnancy-related issues in CF patients and her research interests include the management and complications of CF-related diabetes.
Dr Edward Nash is Consultant Physician specialising in Cystic Fibrosis and also cares for patients with general respiratory conditions. He trained in CF in Bristol and spent 12 months as CF fellow in Toronto, Canada at the largest CF clinic in North America. As part of this fellowship also he worked as Lung Transplant fellow in one of the busiest transplant units in North America. His interests include clinical research in a variety areas related to adults with CF.
